The Untold Truth Of Life

"Peace is not the absence of disorder, It is the composure regardless of chaos. Peace is a subconscious decision to remain unobstructed by circumstances."

I strongly believe that life is not a journey, but a beautiful story with every genre based on the decisions/choices you make. The hard reality of life is that most of us are not ready to accept that no one is perfect, an exemplary life doesn't exist. We all have beautiful flaws and-that we fail to embrace. Self-esteem doesn't mean embracing our positive sides but the negative ones.

I had a lot of trouble dealing with the challenges of life. I lost, I won but most importantly I learned. Feeling emotions is a gift to humans, you can not ignore it because it simply comes in-built. But that does not mean that we should make decisions based on our emotions.  I am sure a lot of us have done something we regret when we are not in the right mind. For example, when we are angry, we focus on the source and do something very foolish like breaking things around us, etc ignoring the impact it will have on our surroundings.

The biggest lesson I have learned through my journey is, your mind is your greatest asset, you become what you learn, everything around you plays a major role in building your characteristics. Your parents, your company, your surroundings, what you watch, eat, do in your free time, etc has a humongous role in your life.

Healthy habits shape your life. A slight change in your daily life can guide your existence to a very different destination. Making a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant at the jiff, but over the span of moments they, make up a lifetime. These choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be. Success is the product of daily habits --- not once in a lifetime transformation. We make a few changes, but the results never seem to come quickly so we slip back into our previous routine. You get what you repeat. Changes that seem small and unimportant at first will compound into remarkable results if you are willing to stick with them for years. We all deal with setbacks but in the long run, the quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits. With the same habits, you'll end up with the same results. But with better habits, anything is possible. Atomic Habits by James Clear is an incredible book that focuses on how to build good habits and unhealthy bad ones.

Do not just be thankful for the things you deem positive in life. Be thankful for the emotions you also deem negative, because it is within the darkness we grow to appreciate the light. The hardest things in life are always building and reminding you of your capacity to overcome. There is power in reminding yourself of that, you are capable of braving the storms, that is what they are there to teach. A diamond forms under the pressure.  Remember that some of the best times of your life haven't happened yet. The most important relationship you have is with yourself. Always remember that some losses set you free and you are enough.
